Thibault graduated from ESSEC (2002) and holds a Master’s degree in European Law from the University of Strasbourg (2001).

A member of the Paris Bar since 2004, Thibault began his career at the law firm Rambaud Martel.

In 2014, he participated in the creation of the law firm Peltier Juvigny Marpeau & Associés, where he was a partner for nearly 12 years. He co-headed the competition law department.

In June 2025, he established his own practice specialising in competition law.

Thibault is a member of the Association of Lawyers Practising Competition Law (APDC).
